Plan 9 Burlesque and Mental Notion Society's first co-production will be playing on Thursday nights at the Public House Theater (previously the Pub Theater).  The show is a parody of the 1999 David Fincher film, Fight Club based on the Chuck Palahniuk novel.    The show follows Tyler Durden and The Narrator as they start an underground burlesque fight club.  Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque features a female cast including:

 Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque will be at the Public House Theater March 7th through April 11th.  The Public House Theater is located at 3914 N Clark St in Chicago IL.

Plan 9 Burlesque Has Announced The Cast of Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque

Plan 9 Burlesque has announced the cast for their upcoming show, Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque.  The show will feature seven performers including:

  • Founding Plan 9 member, Marie Curieosity
  • New Asstronaut, Sadie Hotkins
  • Ann Houserbush
  • Jane Goodforall
  • Towanda Lust
  • Doxie Doll
  • Bunny Bixby

We look forward to seeing newcomers Bunny Bixby, Ann Houserbush and Jane Goodforall perform in Plan 9's first scripted blockbuster.

The show was written and will be directed by El Mari Chi Chi director Jonald Jude Reyes.  Jonald is also the Artistic Director of the Mental Notion Society.  Stella Cheeks (also of Kiss Kiss Cabaret) will be choreographing the dances.  Bobby Hoffman will be choreographing the fights in this action packed show.  Smyra Yawn will be taking care of the stage managing and Drew Cohen will be managing the tech/lighting of the show.

Plan 9 Burlesque Seeks Burlesque Performers for Fight Club Burlesque Parody - Casting Notice

Plan 9 Burlesque and Mental Notion Society will be holding auditions for their upcoming Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque.  The show will feature female performers parodying Fight Club (the book and the movie).  The show was written by Jonald Jude Reyes (previously of Gorilla Tango Burlesque) and Choreographed by Stella Cheeks (a founding member of Plan 9 Burlesque and also previously of Gorilla Tango Burlesque).  Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque will open on March 7th and close on April 11th 2013.
 
Auditions will take place at the Pub Theater on Sunday, December 16th from 10am-2pm.
